I have 2 degrees, Civil Engineering and Economics. I am looking for jobs that incorporate the 2, any ideas? |
I live in Montreal, Canada. Bechtel Construction would be a good start, - gspindle@bechtel.com will put you in the right direction on this, he is a 30 plus years veteran, they are definitely looking for people. BINMAN Quantity Surveyor? or perhaps Burger King... Politics. You can build up false hopes and be economical with the truth. I'd look at project estimating. The eng background will help you understand the projects, hopefully the econ will help you estimate what projects will cost, how the money will be spent, etc. Sounds like you'd be idea for upper management in one of the larger engineering firms. I think Flour has a big office near you. You will likely need to start in Project Manager position and work your way up but it will still pay >$100k/year. I think they also will pay for an MBA. Good Luck! do masters in economics then only they will consider u an economist having engg background . mere graduation in economics wont do. |
