Is there a website providing me the duty description of different civil engineering titles? |
i want to know the exact duty various civil engineering jobs&titles.for example i want to know the exact duties of a site engineer, or a liaison civil client's supervisor, a site supervisor etc. I think each company has slightly different interpetations on duties for each title. Some general expectations might apply, but you can't expect general descriptions to be hard and fast rules. Any university that offers an engineering degree can give you a thorough listing of all of the duties of a civil engineer which can be extensive. why bother to what duties awaits a civil eng'r you will learn all these job titles when you graduate and work you will climb the ladder from the bottom not the other way you can start from an internship civil foreman eng'r trainee construction eng'r and it all depends on the company you are working for there are what they cal piling engr who takes records on pile driving on certain construction works some are surveyor planning engr lots of work that i doubt somebody can give you all the job titles of a civil engr cost control engr materials engr lab engr and so on and so forth i doubt if there is such a website having lists of job titles just go on your studies i'm sure after having taken even just 4 titles of being a civil engr you won't ask for more The United States Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics publishes it's Occupational Outlook Handbook every year.
