I am to be interviewed for Electrical Engineering job at a factory.? |
What could be a specific source to brush up my knowledge for the interview? I use to work in exactly that job. I find most employers look for experience. If you don't have that try to learn as much as you can about the company you plan to work for this always gives a good impression. Ah yes, if the interview is over lunch, don't order spaghetti Electrical engineering handbook, power generation, low, medium, high voltage, power distribution and tram mission losses, compliance to industrial standard(British standard,Din,Jis etc and good luck Try to think (and refer?) to it as a "career" rather than a "job." Perhaps google the company name and quickly learn what you can about what they do and what their electrical engineering needs might be. It might help if you can relate what exactly interested you in the company, and place yourself at the head of the line of people just looking for a job. Genuine enthusiasm counts too. Best of luck!!! |
