A soon to graduate in electrical engineering looking for job.....?

I am going to graduate in may, ms in electrical engineering. I want to land in an entry level job, where they give me decent amount of time for training and catch up. I want to get into design stuff mainly hardware and embedded stuff. Where is the best place to start looking for a job? ..I mean can you be specific please..?
thanks

By the sound of this, you haven't gone through the job search process before, not even as an undergrad.

Typically, at larger universities, the job search process for May grads began back in August/September, when companies had come to campus at career fairs. After that, their HR departments start scheduling campus visits to meet with potential candidates. These candidates will have signed up w/ their college's recruiting office, and submitted a resume that companies can also look at.

The interviewing season for spring should've started by now. The recruiting office has the resources available to research companies, as well as the knowhow to help place grads like you. You can also check out the web for online job boards like Dice.com, but employers there typically are looking for experienced pros.

Good luck in your job hunt.
