Which is the best university providing aerospace engineering programs & certifies a job for u?

is embry riddle university good at aerospace engineering?or else which is the best university .r the jobs high paid .although i encourage answers from everybody i wanna request 4 sum1 who is working in the same field.

I'll be graduating from Embry-Riddle in December. However, I would not recommend this school except as a last resort. There are much better schools out there for aerospace engineering, such as Purdue, MIT, Boston University, and numerous other schools. The Princeton Review ranks Embry-Riddle #1 in aerospace engineering every year, but this is misleading because it is NOT ranked with and school that grants a Ph. D.

In my experience here, the education is inadequate. The professors hold your hand through everything and you do not learn ANY theory. That means that if you want a job where you do what you are told, then you'll be fine. However, if you want to come up with your own research or designs, you'll find yourself lost unless you are EXTREMELY dedicated to your studies and teach yourself the theory on your own time.

I can't complain too much, though. The school is gaining a reputation in the aerospace industry, so even if you don't know anything when you graduate you can still get hired. And yes, the jobs do start off with a very good salary (55-60k in Florida and 63-68k in California, for example). The problem is that since the school will give anybody a degree (like I said, the professors walk you through EVERYTHING), the competition to get a job you actually want can be fierce.

Bottom line: If you can get into Purdue or MIT, definitely go there. Otherwise, Embry-Riddle is still not a bad place to get a degree, it just is not nearly as academically rigorous as it needs to be.
