Wat othr fields r suitable 4 ppl w an engineering degree?

I have a degree in computer engineering with working experience. I wish to look for my next job outside the engineering field and still hope to earn about the same pay as an engineer. Any advice?

Management and sales are two fields where engineering degrees are in demand. In management you'd of course be overseeing other engineers and your previous knowledge would be beneficial. In software sales you'd be able to lend a degree of knowledge and expertise to your potential clients that many salesmen will be lacking.
You could trying using your knowledge to get into the Call Centre industry - helpdesk support.
Truth is - in the long run Internet Marketing is much, much better. It's got $$$, freedom, challenge, creativity, security and working with positive people, to mention only a few items.

Sales. If your looking to get completely away from your current industry, look for a company that supplies to your industry or purchases from your industry. Most technical fields have sales engineers.
