What kind of job in chemical engineering field? Chemical engineering is a great field to be in! The work at manufacturing plants doing process design They work as environmental engineers The work at pharmaceutical companies doing development They work for national labs creating new materials They are never in the lab doing titrations, that's a chemist. probably working in a lab, testing chemical compositions of unknown substances titrations and stuff like that My cousin tested products in the pharmaceutical industry. Many chemical engineers check the math for other companies. They are the third party. They work for the upstream Oil and gas industry here in Houston I have a friend with a degree in chemical engineering. he was offered $80000/yr starting out to work for an oil company in texas. i think all the answer above can answered ur question..but u can try to make ur own business with it maybe?? Nowadays,chemical engineers are now involved in the development and production of a wide range of field,includinghigh performance materials needed for aerospace, automotive, biomedical, electronic, environmental and military applications. For example: developing ultra-strong fibers, fabrics, adhesives and composites for vehicles, medical applications,etc..Chemical engineering has a lot to do with biology and biomedical engineering nowadays. Many chemical engineers work on biological projects such as understanding biopolymers (proteins) and mapping the human genome(DNA and everything..)So if you love biology it wouldn't be a problem to search for jobs on chemical engineering in the modern world of today.. |
