Mechanical engineering tech?


Would I have a hard time finding a job with a degree in mechanical engineering tech, and what kind of jobs would I be able to get? I have looked around my area at jobs and they all seem to be in a factory, is that all I will be able to do with that degree? Also I have to choose a concentration to finish my degree what would be better system, polymer, or radiation polymer concentration? Thanks for any help
