Does any body know what "computer engineering" is all about?

what do they do?
are there jobs avaliable?
are these engineers rich?

Yep- My ex-boyfriend is a Senior Systems Engineer for a software company in Houston, Texas. He designed a program that monitors huge SQL servers, tells the database tech when the servers when the servers have a problem, and actually fixes the problem. There are jobs out there, and you can make lots of money doing that. He did.

A computer engineer is a person who can design software and can use them on any computing machine ... and knows the basic and advanced level of computing and computer analysis, operating system ... and understands the advanced use of any hardware ... and can programme any software to control any hardware and create an output ... thus knowing everythign about computers and its software and operating system ...
and yes there r jobs available in comp. engnr. through out the world ... wherever there is a business of software that is almost every software company around the world ... and a gud comp. engnr. gets a very gud salary ... and if s/he can create sumthing unique and popular around the world .. can become a millinoare even a billionare ... so its a huge aspect ...
P.S. i am studying in comp. engineering ... and am in my finalyrs ...and will be complteingmy bachelors by the end ofthis yr
