How hard is civil engineering school?

im thinking about going back to scool, im 26 is it too late for me to persue a career in civil engineering? what types of eduction is required and how hard is it to get a job as a civil engineer, whats looked for?

no it's not too late. i'm 24 and just got a civil degree. how hard? it's not as hard as all the other engineering degrees. you'll have to get a bachelor (go to a univerisity) in order to persue a civil job. it's easy to get a job in civil. things are being built everyday and you can almost gurantee a job once you get out. i got about 5 offers after i graduated.
Well Civil engineering is indeed a very good career. Its not too late for you. You can start now.
You should have basic knowledge of Physics(Especially Mechanics) and Mathematics.
It is not too late.

Any physics and math that you took in high school may be a little rusty to you, but it will all come back. Actually, by being older, you may be more responsible about managing your study time.
it's not too late. You still very young!!!!So go and get it because is a rewarding career.Don't think about if is easy or not, engineering is not easy you have to work hard but you will obtain the reward when you finish.Go and get it life is too short to do small things,do big things,be an ENGINEER if that is what you like.GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!
