The utilization rate of jack-ups in the US Gulf of Mexico is nearly at capacity. The "boneyard" (where unused jack-ups are stored) located 5 miles offshore of Cameron, LA. is now virtually void of any jack-ups. Same goes for the lift boats that work in the shallow waters.
