What careers combine chemistry, engineering, and computer programming?

I have experience/education in mechanical engineering, chemistry, and computer programming. Are there jobs where I could use all three skills?

The computer programming is of value in nearly any technical field, so if that's not what excites you, concentrate on the other two. What does excite you? Follow the news and magazines in the areas that interest you and see what's going on and who's doing the work. If you find a journal article that really looks like the kind of thing you want to do, contact the authors. Most will be more than happy to counsel a fellow enthusiast. If what you find uses just one of your skills, go for it. There'll still be time and opportunities to pursue the others. Keep your eyes open.
Protein modeling, a bit of physics would help too. Apply to biotechnology companies.
I once spoke to an engineer who worked at an automotive company that made catalytic converters. It's mechancal, and the chemicals that go in the catalytic converter are different for each vehicle. Most automotive companies use CAD.
So, there you go.
Or, my friend, works for a company that makes the backing of sticker paper... the "wax" part. For every type of tape, there is a different combination of "wax" that backs it for easy peeling.
Just a couple of suggestoins...
Good Luck.
If you are building a production process for chemicals, you will need all three.
Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Gas Processing, Gas Transportation are some suggestions. Most engineering jobs need some programming skills.
Work as a high-level CSI.
MAD SCIENTIST pay sucks, but you do get to set your own hours!
