Chemical engineering.PLZ anybody Help????? |
My bro finished at Belgrade university chemical (organic)engineering. Can anyone offer him a job or site where he can find some interesting information. His marks were highly rated.Any chance for working abroad???? I received a BSChE in 1989. For a recent grad, going through the university is the best bet - many large companies hold on-campus interviews. Also, professors are a good source for networking with the industry. It also helps to have had co-operative or intern experience with a company to get your foot in the door. It is important to develop a broad network of professionals that you know and can contact for job information within your particular industry. Ideally, if you can start this at a young age you'll be way ahead of everyone else. As far as the internet, most job postings on there are for people with at least some work experience. The best sites for chemical engineers are: Careerbuilder.com Monster.com Indeed.com My parents are chemical engineers and my mom decided to teach at the university she graduated from, but my dad has made a successful career selling products to companies that make soap and detergents. Maybe he should go directly to those companies, a good Chemical Eng. is always appreciated. Jobs on-line? Is better to go to the University he graduated in, he will get something good to start with. He need to get some experience first, after, he would have a good chance in other countries. Good Luck! Internet can be an excellent source for job search, buddy system is also one of the best method, for job seeker.instructor can provide a key information on how to get to the system especial for the green one.Technical journal, newspaper, magazines which contain scientific material can be help full too. A chemical engineer is someone who creates valuable chemical products from raw materials. As such you can work in a wide variety of industries, from food processing through to speciality bespoke chemicals. You need of course a thorough chemical grounding, at least undergraduate degree but more and more phd or similar qualification. You will need to be patient, logical, enjoy successive setbacks(!) and be very attentive to detail. The field is due to grow and with less and less people studying science, there are good opportunities out there for the right people. |
