Entry level mechanical engineering jobs?

so i live in California in the los angeles area...and i am curious to know what kind of jobs, how much you can get paid, ect with a mechanical engineering degree..

do you think its possible to become a multi-millionaire with this degree?

For the amount of expertise and responsibility involved Engineering is one of the most underpaid professions. Yes, they get paid more than other professions though. You do have the chance to be a multi-millionaire in any profession if the right opportunity comes long and you recognize it for what it is. Advancement through the ranks in Engineering is slower than most other common professions. Sales and Marketing people tend to move up the ranks faster, though starting entry level salary is often lower.

Entry Level: 40K-50K in California. If you have internships and gain a lot of experience while still in school, you might be able to negociate closer to the 50K end.

If you get the opportunity to create inventions, your importance will go up and you may be able to garner higher wages quicker and even royalities.

I won't expect to become a CEO on this career path. Engineers are more likely to become a CEO than an IT professional, but not by much. ;)

If you are a good marketeer of your self, and a great engineer, you can start your own companies and make whatever you can through those ventures.
