Please give me hints for engineering jobs interviews?

1. Make sure you research the company very well and are fully aware of what the company does (pay attention to detail)

2. Ask questions about your role in the company and additional info on the company...this shows enthusiasm

3.Make sure that you point out your extracurricular activities and other involvements eg.a partime job and what skills you have learned from them....this shows that you are well rounded (i.e teamwork or leadership skills)

4. make sure u mention u are eagar to travel and go onsite
this is definately a bonus and enineering jobs require alot of travel depending on the industry

ABOVE ALL BE CONFIDENT,
speak clearly...be sure of yourself (even if you are not)

Just be honest and be yourself. Have confident.

A couple of things employers ask about for engineering positions:

1. Experience you have working in a team and your ability to share and discuss ideas
2. Experience you have working on projects

Bring in copies of any significant engineering work you have done to show them when you talk about it (i.e. powerpoint presentations, reports, etc.) They will be impressed. Be prepared to answer any questions about specific roles you played in a team project, how the project went, problems you came across, and how you resolved them.

First-
remeber what u have written down in your CV.
If u r a fresher-then u will be asked question starting with basic engineering and slowly the interviewer will move to more tougher questions to gauge how much technical knowledge u have retained out of ur 4 years of enggineering studies.

Be prepared for questions about your favourite subject-or what u feel is ur strong points.

Also one major thing to prepare is to see the company background-if u r going for an interview with a Power company-then prepare ur engineering basics keeping generators,transformers,etc
If u r going for petrochemical industries-prepare for Motors drives,etc.
If u r bein interviewed for a Glass factory-then they will ask for Heaters,furnace etc.

What I mean is the Engineering questions will be driven based on the Industry type.

So prepare with the above consideration in mind.

Always be prepared for a written interview also.
