What should I do with those employment agencies?

I am looking for a job and considering to try those employment agencies (kelly services, pro resources,manpower...etc). What do I need to bring with me when I go there? Do I need to call them up first or just walk in? I have M.S. degree and looking for something more than entry level.

When I did it (I used Kelly Services), I called to make an appointment. All you need to take with you is your knowledge. If they require more they will tell you.

Its best to try to find agencies that do placements specifically within your field. If you are going into Management, one I would recommend would be Lee Hecht Harrrison.

I'm new to the area, want a change, even with my Masters degree. So, I'm looking at temp-ing as a way to get to know the area, the culture, and I don't have to commit to an employer. Try it!
