I went to the Department Of Welfare And Supportive Services and I made an appointment to interview one of the social workers. The next day I went to the office and I interviewed __________. She was a very nice, caring lady. I asked her the following questions.

What is your mission?
Social workers at The Department Of Welfare And Supportive Services ( DWSS) help clients overcome barriers to employment such as domestic violence, mental health and substance abuse. Social workers connect clients to community resources, medial assistance, shelters, and other state agencies. The main goal is to help and promote the well being of Nevadans.

Describe the agency, what does it do?
The Department Of Welfare And Supportive Services helps clients become self-sufficient. Case managers assess the client鈥檚 needs and managers link clients with job corporation, vocational programs, and other training. They assists clients financially with cash payments, car repairs, clothing vouchers, and tuition payments.

What is a typical day like for you?
A social worker鈥檚 typical day involves seeing clients in the office and going to their homes. Much of their time is spent on the phone, speaking to the clients or their families and making agency contacts for clients. Documentation of contacts and record-keeping takes up a large part of the day. Each social worker manages an average caseload of thirty-five clients, makes monthly contacts and does an in-home visit every 90 days.

From this interview I learned what The Department Of Supportive Services does and how they help people.

The last sentence is a little "iffy".

".. i learned what the department of supportive services does and how they help people" ??

-does and how they help people?

revise it.

something like..

"From this interview I gained knowledge upon the work and contributions the Department of Supportive Services gives to the people. "

or something simple like

"From this interview I learned how the department of supportive services navigates and how they serve as a benefit to the people"

Describe the agency -- you refer to job corporation, and it should be corporations.
I would suggestion that you use 'other training programs' rather than simply 'other training.'

It looks like you've done a good interview and and described the role of social workers well.

I didn't check for spelling errors because you can that by running it through your spell checker.
