How does discrimination occur at the beginning of the employment relationship in the recruitment,?

interview and hiring process?Give three examples of illegal discrimination. What can employers do to avoid engaging in illegal discrimination?

1) when a woman is hiring and another woman who is qualified for the job applies but is younger and prettier than the one hiring, she may pick a lesser qualified person because she is jealous.
2) age, they may not hire a young woman who has just gotten married etc, because they may think she will want to get pregnant and take time off.
3) race and religion, a person may not hire someone because they are ethnic or white simply because of personal thinking. A company that has mostly Asian people working there may discriminate against other races, even though they may be the best candidate for the position. Employers can make sure that the person who hires people has no prejudices and is fair. also they can ask to review all applications before they approve who they hire.
