Loan discrimination?

Besides having bad credit, can a business legally deny a person a loan because of their employment status

I should add a little detail. Can a company say "no i wont loan you money because your in the armed forces"

Loans are not rights, they are a risk being taken by the company extending the credit.

{edit} In response to your additional details.... Nobody has to give you a loan and they can cite whatever reason they want. It's their money.

You are not entitled to a loan regardless of who you work for.

Yes! You have to have the means to pay it back. You're not entitled to a loan.
