Can U sue for discrimination if a employer withdraws their offer after a background check?

I had a job offer and the sterling company gave them a background check that showed a DUI and disorderly conduct charge both are misdomenors but the company withdrew the offer of employment based on this info. what can I do now?

You can not do anything about it.. that is the point of a background check. It isn't discrimination, it is the company's right to withdraw the offer of employment based on your background, especially if you have a job that requires you to work with money or something like that. Sorry that happened to you, even though it's pretty irregular. You'll be fine with the next job.

That's why they have a criminal background check. They are within their rights.

discrimination means you would have been denied a job based on something you cannot change--skin color, gender, religious background, etc.

Your own bad behavior is not protected by anti discrimination laws.

This is why most people don't drive drunk or get into fights at bars...

Why would they want to hire
a prospective employee that
might cause them problems?
Both of your offenses are
grounds for not hiring you.
