My husband and I do this all of the time.
We own a painting business...and here is what happens.:
Someone calls us to come and look at their house and what needs to be done...at this time...after we've assessed the area to be painted...we go home and make up an estimate...
When the estimate is done...or the estimate of what it's going to cost them...we mail off to their house...and if they sign the agreement or if they sign the estimated cost sheet (the estimate)...then, wella, you have an employment contract...
Easy, right?
