Urgent, please help! Question about the Citizenship application - the Employment history part.....?

My sister is applying for the US Citizenship test. On her application for citizen, there is a part asking her to list all employment history for the last 5 years. She used to work for a company for about 5-6 months long time ago, within 5 years, but she doesn't remember the place, and the name of that company or where it is. She can't find any information for that place neither.

The question is....if she can't find or remember that company, and she will not put the information on the application, is that OK? Will they accept the application? Does that mean commit as fraud (even though she did not lie, she can't remember)??? Will it affect her application for the citizenship??? Please help, cuz we need to send it in ASAP, Thanks a lot.

She can call the IRS and request her tax returns for that year. Her employer should be listed. Hope that helps.

It says "to the best of your ability." It would be best if she at least tried to put a name down. A mistake in the name is no where as bad as not listing it. It's easier to explain a mistake of memory than to explain that "I may be hiding something, so I didn't put the employer."

She can write a short note with her application (include all identifying information on any blank pages, including A#)
explaining as much information as she knows.

This is not a big problem.
