Sending in a MacDonalds employment application form, should i have to show them a Cv and cover letter as well? |
This is to be my first job. I am applying for crew member role. I am well impressed with your attitude....I would give you 2 gold stars on your badge just for asking. I do not think you would need to (but if you did you would certainly get noticed). If you always have this attitude to your work, I bet you will own MacDonalds some day. It is always a good idea to include a well written cover letter and resume. Yeah...probably isn't needed for somewhere like that but best to make a good impression and be on the safe side :-D But both in anyway. Normally they don't ask for a covering letter, but show some initiative! Good luck, it's a tough job... Yes it is wise but only if you are posting or emailing it, If you are just dropping in your CV to one of the 'restaurants' then don't bother no just your cv should be fine and if they ask for a covering letter then provide one but if not don't bother. good luck x I think a cover letter from you would just lessen your chances of a job with MCDONALDS. Yes, even McDonalds. An application is all they require. well maybe you should get the companies name correct...its MC not MAC.. mc donalds used to be notoriously bad employers,i don,t know what they are like now, just give them what you can,if you don,t get the job it,s no loss. MacDonalds crew member ...........You lucky lucky thing you. DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe a CV, but a cover letter? Unless you want to manage the restaurant then I wouldn't bother Its McDonald's, you might want to learn to spell it right if you are going to work there. I would just go directly to the restaurant you are interested in working at and fill out an application. Good luck, I hear it helps if you know all the lyrics to the Big Mac jingle. It's McDonalds. Take it in and hand it to the manager on duty. While knowing how to write a resume and cover will be important to future positions, it is overkill for a job at McDonalds, or any other fast food place unless you are applying for a management position. I think just an application form will do the trick.. |
