Any Legal Advice for the JST Group Scam?

I was very intrested when I recieved an email from a woman, Heidi Hlasek offering me a position as a payment manager for a co. called JST Group. (there is a question posted on here from aprox 2 months ago that has the full text of the email) Sounded completely legit, so I responded for more info. I was made to sign & return an "Employment Agreement" About a month later I recieved a check in my name for $2,000.00. I was advised to cash it, take $200 and wire the rest via western union to Moscow Russia. I did. Then a few days later Heidi emails again to say I have to change the name of the recipient because she cant pick up the funds, so I did. Western Union flagged it, and refused to complete the transfer. I then noticed that the person who sent the check, ordered a stop payment (after i cashed it) which overdrew my account $2000. Needless to say, really messed up my bills being paid for the month. Heidi wont respond. Is there anything I can do???

sry to say but you got scammed!!!! there is nothing you can do to get your money back...

To Avoid scams here is what i tell people...
>All spam emails/unsolicited letters and faxes are scams.
As a general rule - ANYTHING involving Western Union/money gram = Scam.
my Advice: Don't deal with anyone from a foreign country or Accept checks from strangers and never use wire/bank transfer services.. you
risk losing your $$ and your mind.
