How & where to contact for starting employment agency business in India.?

I want to start my own employment agency and desire to know how to start it properly and leagally? Does it require any registration? If yes then I want the address and contact details of the authority. What could be the investment to start this business?

Hi,

Starting a recruitment firm is very easy, but conducting business is very difficult. I am not trying to demotivate you, just trying to be honest.

Initially to save on cost, you could start at home and try soliciting clients by calling them. You could also have a website of your own listing your services.

Start with subscribing to a naukri.com account, this should help you. Start with a 3 monthly duration. Another skill that you should learn is how to POACH. A lot of consultants/companies have started doing this.

A web reference which comes to my mind for website is:
http://www.binaryconsultants.com

The initial cost would be towards the following:
1. A computer (Rs. 25 - 30K) (I am assuming that you already have this)
2. A naukri.com account (Rs. 40 - 50 K).

Hope this helps.
