Do Employment Agencies aid or hinder the British worker?

Hinder. They take some of your wages.That is never a good thing.

I was made redundant in April and have signed up with virtually every agency in the area.
I have been in temp work more or less regularly since then, but there haven't been many interviews for permanent work.
They have been rude and agressive to me and putting me forward for stupid interviews for which I have no experience.
However, I have not faced the depressing job centre and could now get a job in a call centre as I've had enough experience!!!!

Bad Bad Bad

They all vary.......Good experience with Adecco.... Bad experience of Rullion.......The actual recruiters are on commission so unscrupulous ones will put you in for anything even if not suitable........I always use Adecco as I find the person that I deal with to be professional and an excellent contact........Just remember they need your CV to generate business so you are also their client........so use them as much as they use you.........
