Does anyone feel a person can look TOO hard for employment? |
I have been unemployed for four months despite being signed up with 17 agencies, more than 15 employment websites and having sent out hundreds of resumes I am still stuck in a job market glutted with white collar workers. (I have several degrees and much experience, great references and much more) -- If I relax (LOL) will a job show up? Just a thought. Yes, give me another beer. Go to places where they hire people with your skills, Talk to them personally , Agency's may work but in a lot of cases your just another faceless resume among many and may be far down a list to boot. No. Oh, I am right there with you! Yes, in fact, your resume might be circulating TOO much, ...those websites are often visited by the agencies, and they see your name over and over... I'd relax, and the outgoing yin will be replaced by incoming yang! |
