Why aren't people with a sketchy employment history allowed to start over like bad credit people?

Just think it is unfair that people who have had bad credit are allowed to start over. There are all these agencies to help them buy a car but yet people who want to start over with a clean employment history are not allowed that option.

People with sketchy employment can start over. If you can't, there is something else that is preventing it.

That's not true. The problem is finding a prospective employer who will give you that chance to start from scratch and they are out there. It's a matter of you selling yourself to the hiring manager that you are worth taking a chance on. I hired two people with sketchy employment histories. One definitely did turn out to be a bad seed and fired him that same day he started. The second person is still with us and it's been over a year. Question is what are you not doing or saying at the interviews you go on?

You don't have to list ALL of your previous employment. Only list the ones you were at longest, and ones that you had a good reason for leaving. And you can start over anytime, by keeping the job stepping up to the plate no matter what it takes to keep it. Use it as a stepping stone stay there for 1 year and alot more options will be available to you

i never knew that but if its true that is soo unfair.
