What are the chances of this happening? |
I am working for a employment agency and the company that they sent me to work for has offered me a job with them full time. I just have to pass the background check. So my question is this, since I had to have a background check at the employment agency, I should not have any problem passing the one at the company right? Or am I wrong? Please help! That would depend on how thorough a check was done by the agency. They usually are not as interested in your past as they are in getting some of the money you earn. The company that has offered you full time may do a more in depth study of your past. I suggest that if you have a few skeletons in your closet you might want to discuss these with your potential employer before the background check. Different companies have different standards. As long as you don't have theft or felony convictions I would say you should be fine. You could be very wrong. There is a company here that uses an employment service for most of their entry level positions. I have heard that several of those who were offered permanent positions were rejected after a background check was completed. |
