What is the turnover of UK businesses and how many employees are there?


i am looking for 2005 figures if possible (or as up to date as possible). I have checked the DTI and National Statistics websites without much joy. I need to be able to source the stats.

At the start of 2005, UK businesses employed an estimated 22 million people, and had an estimated combined annual turnover of 拢2,400 billion (see statistics link below for further details).
