Have you ever heard of a bell being rung at work each time an employee is fired? Enough to scare you?

I work in a call center with 2,000+ people answering phones where it is not uncommon for lots of turnover..

My co-worker gets the forms as they are terminated and has specially brought in a bell from home to ring when they are fired..

I don't know what to think of this & why would my co-worker do something like this?

He takes great pride in ringing the bell & sometimes the bell is rung daily upwards of 10 times.

Find a new job immediately.

The bell should be against policy somehow. I'm sure it brings down morale and aids in creating a hostile work environment.

People being fired is never funny.

no卢

Ring, ring!!

he's got problems ......who's ringing the bell when he gets fired

He's an arrogant douche bag.

Instead of being scared, why not feel better? Meaning one more competition is out, making it easier for a promotion. That is, unless the said employee is not doing his/her job as well, then THEY should start looking for another job, ASAP!

No, when I worked at Target we had a thermometer and with our turnover when it boiled to the top we got our breaks taken away.
