In Pennsylvania, is it required that employers pay for employee training?

I am a college student about to work for my University and am required to put in 24 hours of training over 3 days. Is the school required to pay me for the training time?

They could tell you that the training is unpaid. As long as they say this, it is legal.

Who ever you are working for they have to pay you for your training. If it's a job yes they have to pay you for the training due to they will be taking taxes out of you.

If you work, you get paid. It's that simple.
