I work for a privately owned Subway Sandwiches and Salads Franchise. I have a question about holiday pay.?

I know my best solution would be to have a Employee Handbook but I have never received one. I have to work an 8 hour shift on the Fourth of July. I just wanted to know if I get a certain holiday pay or it's just at my regular wages. I've been googling for a while and can't find a copy of the handbook online. I would really appreciate some help. Thanks!

Generally speaking, all holidays that are up for holiday pay are federal (as opposed to just religious) holidays. 4th would be one. Usually, places will pay time and a half for holiday pay, but it's not law. You would have to check with your manager for sure.
