Is "360 degree evaluation" bunkum ?

You can see straight out there鈥檚 something wrong with 360 degree evaluation

obviously garbage lifted from some junk management theory.

it looks like management consultants recommended this nonsense and made a fortune out of it.

if the ".mil" document was a credible document why would it be talking about "employees".

my example shows the whole thing is "nonsense on stilts"

A 360 evaluation is like other management tools, helpful but not the sole answer to management.

There are too many complex things going on in any management situation (personalilties, ambition, experience, motivation) for a single theory/tool to make them understandable and measurable.

360-evalluations can give you some information, but not all information.
