Are 501c3 non-profit organizations legally obligated to provide health insurance benefits to their employees?

Are 501c3 non-profit organizations legally obligated to provide health insurance benefits to their employees?

No. However, state and local laws may require this of businesses of any kind (usually depending on size). These are rare but increasingly popular and will vary by state. If there is a distinction made between for-profits and non-profits, non-profits are generally given more leniency.
