Your business is considering offering child care benefits to its employees. What are the financial cons?

what are some recommendations?

If you have a large entry-level and low-income employee base, consider partnering with a child development center targeted to that population. In that way, a portion of the family's cost may be subsidized by other means and your company can pick-up the remainder or a portion thereof.

Where are you located? If you are in California or the SF Bay Area, we may be able to help. See http://www.fcs-sf.org
The only cons are the costs. Every other impact offering such a benefit to your employees will be a plus. Happier employees = more productive employees. Employees who believe you care that they have a life and a family will be better to your business interests.
