What nationwide companies offer medical benefits to their PART/TIME employees?

Right now I work for a direct care agency for people with developmental disabilities in New York that offers me benefits for part time work. I don't know how much longer I can work there because the individuals sometimes have behaviors that can be dangerous to be around. I know Starbucks offers med benefits for PT work, but I'm sure the wages aren't quite what I need. Know of any other nationwide companies?

Well, you hit it on the head with Starbucks. They do offer all the benefits to part-timers, even stock options. The average starting wage is around $8-9/HR. Personally, I feel its not worth it if your looking part-time because the amount of money each week taken out of your paycheck to cover you benefits will far outweigh you total net pay.

The only other company Im aware of that offers benefits to part-timers is UPS. I am unsure as to how much they pay their part-time employees.

I wish you luck with whatever you decide; hang in there!
