Corporations laying off full time employees to hire temp. employees at a lower wage and no benefits?

We the people are standing by while this is happening everyday. Good hard working family men and woman are being let go no matter how much time they have spent with the company some 20 and 30 years. Is it the high cost of insurance, save wage dollars, or just plain and simple greed. You could be next on the chopping block or some one that you know. Its devastating to the people who put so many years in to a job just to get *issed on by some cut cost *sshole who keeps their job. I say its time for some blood and guts retaliation. Its time to make a stand.

It's been happening at my place of business now for about 5 or so years. There used to be about 800 employees, now there about only about 150 of us left, the rest of the positions are in India where they make about 1.00 an hour. They just let a lady go with 3 months severance pay who had been there for over 9 years. There is absolutely nothing we can do about it. There is no recourse for big business.
