Why is it the states that are run by republicans are last in all categorys like education?

south carolina is an example- mark sanford and the conservatives have been a mess to the state and the state is close to last in education, job growth, etc.

Conservatives have been running Nevada for as long as I can remember, and our school system really sucks! I believe it is a covert effort to abolish the entire free public education system. It's a political mind-game I call, "If I keep doing it wrong, maybe they'll make me stop doing it". Connecticut also has the affluent living in it who can afford to work in NYC and not live there. They're usually the ones who have the financial resources to provide for their children's education just a bit better than your average Mississippian.
