Will earning 2 masters degrees make me more valuable for a career in student affairs/higher education?

I am completing a masters in post secondary education now but i didnt have any graduate assistanships or internships because it was distance learning. I feel that I should go back and earn a second degree in student affairs counceling to be able to secure a entry level higher education job after graduation. The second degree includes two internships and a graduate assistanship. Also I could become certified as a councelor, which is something my first masters doesnt offer. What do you think, does it really matter about the graduate experience or will my related experiences in undergrad plus my first masters be enough to secure an entry level job in student affairs?

Your current degree is enough to secure an entry level job in student affairs...what you need now is to develop your sales pitch (selling yourself in a particular position).

Think of your masters degree as an entry ticket to the train station. You can get on whatever train you want, but you'll still need to convince the conductor that you're going somewhere. They're not going to kick you out of the station, but it might take some convincing to get them to let you on their train....
You need to work for a few years and build up a solid employment history, otherwise people will consider you either 'over educated' or 'a professional student'. Then start your 2nd degree.

Grad experience does not amount for much on a job application.

Good luck!
Working as a counselor in a community mental health clinic is interesting and rewarding, but you only get paid if the client shows up. It is not unusual to be at the agency for 9 to 11 hours and only get paid for 2 to 4 hours. McDonald's pays better.
yes any one will hire you if you 2 master degrees.
