I can鈥檛 decide whether to major in Social Work or Education. Job security is important. Social Work seems to offer more career options-but I've heard many horror stories! Anyone out there working in either field whose willing to share their experience?
I worked in the College of Education for five years at a University. There is a surplus of Elementary Educators. If you're looking for job security in education, go for Math or Science. Do NOT go for Secondary English or Social Studies, as those are also overloaded. Math and Science are the two areas needed the most. Otherwise, do social work. |
