Can someone tell me jobs in a hospital that require a college education. The job requires you to be in an office, work with computers, does not require alot of biological science, and pays well?
There are many different types of jobs that fit your description. So, before you decide on a job you need to answer some questions for example are what do you mean by 'pays well' and what personality type are you - IE medical records workers must be very careful and very meticulous, while fundraisers must be very outgoing. Here are some kinds of non-clinical jobs that exist in hospitals: administration; public relations; marketing; medical records; health informatics/computers; finance; human resources; training and development; purchasing; fund raising and so on. Also, remember that health care doesn't only include hospitals - there are also jobs in doctors offices, managed care organizations, and allied health offices such as physical therapy, medical laboratories etc. Here's a link to a site that talks about some of these jobs, there educational requirements and their salaries: http://www.bls.gov/oco/home.htm...
