Does a better education ensure a better job? |
Does education help you get a better job? Or is this education stuff about getting better jobs just overrated? It can't hurt...but it's all in what you study and how you apply it. I once met a man with a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology driving a cab. And I have met very successful corporate CEO's who never finished a bachelor's degree... although these are rare cases. For the average person on the street... if you want a white collar professional job with opportunity for advancement, yes, you really do need to have at least a bachelor's degree in today's job market. Educate yourself to be a productive and competitive worker, and keep refreshing your education every few years to stay current. The fact that our labor force in the US is badly under-educated is a big part of the reason why our jobs are going to Bagalore. Beyond that, graduate degrees are worthwhile, but only if you are properly motivated and focused on realistic career goals, so I think most people are better off waiting and working for a few years before going back to grad school so they don't waste their degrees. yes!! so stay in school. there are more opportunities to people that have an education. there are not many for people that dont. "Does a better education ensure a better job?" No. You can have a PhD and still be a dick. I've seen it happen. "Does education help you get a better job?" It could but like I said... "Or is this education stuff about getting better jobs just overrated?" No, but education isn't the only thing that lands you a job. WELL YEAH IT DOES AND ALSO YOU NEED A GOOD ATTITUDE definitely. Education is the best one to get a the best job and there is nolimit for higher education we can keep on studying and suitably get a best job self comments |
