what are some good jobs that don't need a college education and have fair hours and pay good Movie Director Look into the non-profit sector. You can start with little education and work your way up. This is a career path that is not taught in schools and requires more savy and personal sell than education. I started 15 plus yrs ago and am making 6 figures. Go for it. I have a high school degree. I work on the railroad. Starting wages about 15 dollars an hour with options of overtime. You could make about 70,000-85,000 tops as a conductor. I know engineers who make tops 110,000 a year. You also don't need a college degree for that. In fact I know people who work on the railroad WITH a college degree because they cant find work with their degree! Poor judgment on them maybe, but hey, at least they are making money now. Contractor work, i.e. electrician,plumber etc. There is some training, but nothing like getting a degree and the money is good! I really love my career and I do it from home, so I set my own hours. The company is great and has good benefits and since the have their own training, college is not required. It is mostly computer work. Their is unlimited earning potential and you can advance rapidly. I get to help people every day and make a great living doing it. How much better does it get? |
