Should you get an MBA after an engineering education even before you have job experience? |
Should you get an MBA after an engineering education even before you have job experience? Should or should not..... If you are really interested in getting into Managerial line, then nothing matters. An MBA degree after BS or BE will be great boon since you will be able to understand the technical part as well as the managerial part,with ease, that leads to less time in training you and less margin of error you would be making. Doing MBA after a Job experience is another part of the story. Where as in the previous case you had 2 +ve traits 1. Technical Knowledge 2. Managerial Knowlege. Now in this case you are adding up the third +ve trait 3. Work group experience ie., you would be knowing how a organization runs and the petty politics surrounding them and more over you would have guaged to certain degree about the mentality of people in work environment. Either option will do great. It's up to you to weigh the +ve and -ves and your financial obligation, your commitments, and your determination. Engineering is very much helpful for MBA student to know and understand all the technical aspects in a better way.No doubt work exerience help a lot in MBA but MBA for an Engineer means a better,suitable and stable job. Hi Friend, MBA is a coUrse where every body can do in full as well as part time that doesn't matter ur aged or experienced. Its not compulsory to do MBA after doing engineering or any other professional coUrses it is up to u to do and based on ur interest. but Thur interest u can do MBA but for applying in Ur work atmosphere u should have talents to manage the organisation and of coUrse ur employees or subordinates.
