Education, sure it is a great quality but.........? |
why is it required in every field of work except food service or heavy industrial? I just dont understand why people need to see a degree for you to be qualified for a job! I know alot of people who have college degrees that, though educated, are not what I call smart. There are alot of us out here who could do a great job and just never had the oppertunity to pursue a college education. Now I am not saying fields like doctors should be open to anyone, but there are some jobs that really only require a little training rather than a degree, yet they are not open to people without one. A person who is hard working and wants better in life doesnt have a fair chance. I wish my life allowed me to pursue an education, but it just does not. I just think people should give the job to a dedicated deserving person willing to all it takes to fulfill the requirements. education is useless if you are not willing to do a little more than what you were taught. Such be how it is. The degree is an indicater that the person knows how to learn. Yes many do not. Another is that the person was willing to take the time to learn. Yes schooling does help so what you are saying is you don't have a very good education... To make you a well-rounded person, whatever that means. Education means that you have taken the most basic steps to further your career. If your a hich school drop you you might be smart, but how do empolyers know that? They don't. A college degree is a fast, clear way to show smarts and drive. If you don't bother to take the time to get a degree, how much drive and determination do you have? |
