Tell me a good job that only require minimum education or college ed? |
Tell me a good job that only require minimum education or college ed? That depends on what you consider a "good" job. My wife is a hairdresser -- it is harder than it sounds because you are constantly on your feet and working with scissors etc (so repettitive stress injuries are common) but she can make obscene amounts of money in the higher-end salons if she wants to. It requires an innate talent at it, but relatively little education other than a few months vocational training at a cosmetology school. My stepson works at a major chain grocery store. It is a union job, so the pay is good and he has full benefits, and he can work the night shift so he doesn't have to deal with too many people. To him, it is a good job. It would drive me nuts in a month because I don't like repettitive work. A friend of mine is a driver for UPS -- again good pay and benefits, and this involves a lot more people interraction. He likes it a lot. It would drive me nuts, maybe in less than a week because I hate driving in traffic. Two neighbors of mine are cops. Excellent pay and benefits, excitement, flexible shifts, great job satisfaction. I minored in law enforcement and would have become a cop, but -- you guessed it -- it would drive me nuts, because I just wanted to smack the little smart-a$$es who would earn their tickets for doing 50 through a school zone and still whine and snivel about "why don't you go find a real criminal." So instead I became an engineer and specialized in inventing toys and consumer electronics. Took a lot of study and hard work, is not a union job, but has great pay and benefits all the same, is constantly new and challenging, and involves some people work but not too much of it. Anyway, I hope you can see that a "good" job really just means finding something you like to do, and doing it. You will be good at it because you are interested in doing it, and that normally means (sometimes after a lot of work) that it will pay well for you because you are worth paying to do the work.
