What's your education level? Are you a native English speaker? There are plenty of jobs in East Asia for native speakers who hold bachelor's degrees. Some schools will take you without the degree if you have experience working with children. Just make sure to research prosepective schools on esl sites like Dave's ESL Cafe and (for China) Nate's China School Review. Also, look into expat sites specifically set up for the city you may want to go to. They can tell you if a school is legitimate or not. Good luck! If you are under 26 you could go to the US on their au-pair scheme for one year and live with a US family (http://www.aupairinamerica.com... and gain qualifications and experience. You need 200 hours of recent childcare experience but that could be babysitting family members. Tourist operators look for people to help out at their kids clubs like Club Med but it's a bit early as they usually start at Easter. |
