Do you think education really gets your a good job or back to the old saying ..?

Not what you know , but who/whom you know!???

You may get the job because of who you know, but you keep the job because of what you know. Remember what happened in New Orleans after Katrina to people who got jobs because of who they knew.

its definitly a combo of both, your better off with more eduacation than more friends. having more friends will only be asking you if the know of good jobs
There certainly are more oppertunities for those with an education suted to what jobs they apply for.
DUDe it really depends if u r ready to work ur *** of or not

I have was just having this conversation with a bunch of friends yesterday. All of us have graduate degrees (too much education!) and none of us are making good money - we get by - barely! While there is the potential to meet people in college who may be useful later in life - you never really know. We think it is a combination of who you know and education, leaning heavily towards the who you know. And it helps to have a good personality and be nice, cuz ya never know!
