What kind of jobs can I get as a historian?

I am currently in school for pharmacy, but my true passion is history. The problem is I don't know if I can make a living as an historian. What kind of jobs can I get, how much can I make, what kind of education do I need?

Our local library has a historian who works to trace family geneology, and the history of old houses, parks, etc. Lastly, of course you can teach history.
You can be a tourist guide, history teacher (just take a few courses on education) or if you will major in art history most probably you would end up working for an art gallery or can be a basis for fashion design.
I hear T.G.I. Fridays is hiring.
You could work in a museum but you might need to take certain classes or do an internship in a museum.
